This post highlights a critical loophole in Kerala's Higher Secondary Centralised Admission Process (HSCAP) for Plus One Allotment. Students residing near district borders face severe challenges in securing admission to schools closest to their homes. This article examines the urgent need for a 5-10 km boundary relaxation policy to make the single-window admission process more equitable, practical, and empathetic toward thousands of students and parents across Kerala.
