India is undergoing a modern transportation transformation led by semi-high-speed express trains such as the Vande Bharat Express and Gatimaan Express. On select upgraded northern corridors like Delhi-Agra, trains reach 160 kmph, whereas operational speeds in coastal terrain like Kerala remain capped at 100-110 kmph due to sharp curves and signal densities.
